There has been talk of imminent approaches from the likes of Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona, while a couple of Premier League clubs have been credited with interest in the supposedly homesick one-cap England international — who is preparing to switch international allegiance to Jamaica.
His value to the cause at Marseille would be expected to make him untouchable, as he remains under contract until 2029, but that may not be the case. Questions of his attitude have been asked throughout the 2024-25 campaign, leading to the odd spell on the bench being taken in, and claims that Marseille would “consider a sale if a very interesting offer arrives”.
