  The Premier League outfit already have one Beckham on their books, with David’s son Romeo forming part of their B team. The Manchester United and England legend has been spotted attending games in west London. It is now being suggested that he could land a stake in the club as Bees owner Matthew Benham opens himself up to investment talks.

  Brentford boss Frank has said of those rumours: “If he brings Messi as well, I’ll be very happy! Then I’ll say do it, I’ll call Matthew. Get it done. Rumours I don’t know, but yeah Matthew is the owner.”
