Drawing a comparison to the rise of Luis Henrique, Julien Fournier told : “Look at Luis Henrique, who is on fire. A few months ago, the whole stadium was making fun of him…A Greenwood, you have to be able to keep him."
United may also benefit from any potential sale, as the Premier League club is rumoured to have included a sell-on clause in the deal that sent Greenwood to France. The clause reportedly guarantees United 50 per cent of any future transfer fee, making his success at Marseille financially beneficial for his former club as well.
